From the very beginning of this season I was not happy with the increased HR emphasis. It's fine to bring in players that you hope to hit HRs like Moss and Soler but someone needed to remind our regulars that their strengths lie more in contact with singles/doubles. Gordon, Hos, etc. should not be swinging for the fences every time but I think it's pretty clear the whole team basically started out the season with that mindset.
