According to me and anyone who believes that you need a great team, and a good defense in particular, in order to have a real shot at winning the Superbowl. Also anyone who was being realistic about the quality of this QB class.

I also wasn't a very big fan of the QBs in this draft to begin with. There wasn't too much that separated the top 4 from each other, IMO. I had the top 5 slotted:

1. Trubisky- 15-20 range
2. Watson - 20-30 range
3. Mahomes - 31-40 range
4. Kizer - 45-55 range
5. Webb - 60-70 range

And that's with the weighted value that QBs are often given. I'm not the only one who didn't think much of the guys available this year.

That's why sitting still and taking Foster, a top 10 talent and guy who was being discussed as a potential top 5 pick prior to his injury issue, would have been far superior to trading a future 1st round pick and a 3rd round pick for the chance to gamble on a QB who was only marginally better than the next best guy.
