The big challenge would be Zach Browns Defense against Josh Jackson or they could put McDuffie on him. Then there's the X factor with Frankamp against Graham. Graham impresses me and loves the moment. Frankamp wants sweet revenge. (Marshall has taught him to play some D this year as well.) Vick is another good player. Lucas is Lucas.

Wichita has 10-15 fouls to give at every position except point Guard. They're deep and there are 9-10 very good scorers on the team.

This team averages 80pts a game and gives up only about 38% shooting on D. The offense is much less predictable than last year with Fred and Ron. The analytics I saw had KU a 1 point favorite in a hypothetical matchup but you could throw that out the window as the winner would be the team who has the superior mental toughness and executes. It's a toss up on a neutral court in my opinion.

I'd rather WSU didn't play KU early. I'd rather be in Gonzagas Region and get a second crack at Michigan State. Izzos guys would underestimate WSU.

For the record I'm not always anti KU. I just can't stand entitled KU fan. Love to puncture that balloon. I'm looking at you reerun 😀 I will say that Allen is a special place to play. The crowd willed KU into winning that game last night. Tremendous atmosphere.

WSU needs to get out of the Valley and into the AAC. KU should then schedule home and home and neutral and neutral with WSU. I know it won't happen though so I hope for a Regional meeting with KU.

Love this time of year. Let the chips fall where they may boys!!
Good breakdown. Far better than all the trolling.

Depth might well be a killer for KU, especially if fouls rack up quick.

I don't think Frankamp on Graham would end up very well, if Graham decides to not just stand around on the 3 pt line. Graham is really slippery and last game I watched Frankamp still has pretty slow feet. That could be offset by some well executed help defense off of Lucas. Graham can disappear sometimes, so if he does, that will...suck.

Gonzaga would be a good matchup for WSU. Izzo normally has his dudes ready to play, but they aren't as good this year. Valentine did a lot more for them last year than a lot of people recognize.

What are the chances WSU leaves the Valley? Is there any smoke there or is it just what you'd rather see?
