Yes, we played WSU in the 2nd round 2 years ago. But other than that, there is very little evidence that the NCAA has set us (or anyone else) up in these types of early round matchups.

I should have clarified,
bracketologists always love the matchup, and after last year some think the NCAA does too. There was no justifiable reason for them to be a 7 in 2015. They were predicted to be a 4 seed going into the tournament and had the resume to back that up. Seeing them placed so low made zero sense (an 8 this season would be as criminal, imho).
They were in our bracket again last season, and if they're there for a third season in a row, it'll attract some speculation about how the NCAA feels about the matchup, justified or not.
