I believe two of those were at Indiana, when he inherited the disaster Kelvin Sampson created and had like 3-4 walkons in his top 7 in Year 1, right?
He also has won the Big Ten twice in the past four years and made the Sweet 16 3-4 times in the past six. If OG Anonouby and James Blackmon were healthy all year, I think he's contending again and this isn't even a discussion.

Haith left the program on probation. I don't believe Anderson knew that there was a real possibility that the program was going to be on probation when he accepted the job.
Now, that doesn't him from winning 26 over the parts of 3 seasons. If anything, Alden's the one that created this shit show, Rhodes didn't do anything to stop it, and it's TBD to see what Sterk does.

The probation he inherited was a joke/slap on the wrist. One scholarship reduction over two years is NOTHING.
Kim Anderson inherited a tough situation and promptly went about making it absolutely awful.
But it was never about what he inherited or needing more time. He is completely out of his depths as a D1 coach, and that was obvious from the beginning. More time just would equal more terrible seasons.
