the only problem is when i changed the relay, it ran fine for a year and a half, even in the coldest of colds. this instance it's doing the same thing as then. i just haven't put in the new relay. will this weekend. im just looking for tips as to what may be causing the relay to go bad so quickly. and thanks by the way. i know this is a long shot.

(its as if the cold makes the relay contacts shrink thus losing contact. when the warmth hits the car, it expands and re-establishes connection. i know this is not the case, but best way to describe it)
