The average age of the team isn't necessarily a significant factor. Ramik Wilson is younger than DJ, but the team doesn't get better if DJ retires. Between age and FA, combined with 10 win seasons instead of 4 win seasons, the team may have trouble replacing guys they lose. There's a reason dynasties are so rare. There's a degree of luck in landing a bunch of guys that are good
and cheap at the same time.
