I probably would have preferred Alvarez, but they're very similar players and would be deployed similarly. Moss does have a little more defensive versatility - he's a solid 1B and can passably play a corner OF spot.
He hasn't been quite the same since his hip injury in 2014 (midseason), but he could be a nice fit hitting 6th or 7th in KC's lineup.
Random thought on the lineup with Moss: I'd flip up the order, since Ned is so obsessed with balance.
