You would think being defending SB champs but then sub-consciously you are dealing with multi-millionaires who already have a ring knowing they are not going to the playoffs in a d-line facing the biggest strongest running offensive line in the NFL will not be motivatingly fun for them and the fact that Denver has no run game to offset favors McGloin more than Lynch IMHO. Both are young and still learning and it will be whoever has the run game that will win and we know who has the run game. Besides psychologically Oakland has already defeated Denver which is HUUUUUUUGE !!
