When I was prob 16-17 I was fighting with my girlfriend (who's now my wife of 24 years as of 12/30/16). I was in South St Louis and she was in Valley Park (prob a 30+ minute car ride down the highway). I left my house got on the highway to hitch hike to see her. I got picked up by some guy in a business suit who was huffing the hell outta some glue while driving. He kept asking me if I wanted some and I kept saying no. Then he kept asking where I was going, and I'd reply to highway 141, and every time he'd reply "oh yeah that's the exit I'm going to too". Happened almost every exit we passed. But I did make it in one piece.
