This pretty much sums it up.
High School tells a person if you grew up in the city, or what part of the County you grew up in. Or if you're a private school trust fund kid. It's judgmental as ****, but it's an instant barometer as to your socioeconomic status - at least in your formative (well, to me at least) years.
I think it's ridiculous, but it's been going on for decades.
