Any lifting or above the head activities can have a sore shoulder and pain.

The thing I've read about the surgery says it's pretty successful when you get it as a young athlete. When you are an old couch potato like me, it isn't always as successful.
It feels stupid to have sudden pain when simply putting on or taking off a shirt.
