I can't believe there are people in here trying to argue that the offense isn't bad right now. It's one thing to say it's good enough for the defense to carry them (which it isn't, the defense isn't on that level), but to outright argue that there isn't a problem with the current offense is total denial.

Is it possible to win games with the current offense? Yes, it's possible. It's possible to make the playoffs and win playoff games and even win the Superbowl with the current offense. But the odds greatly improve if the offense is better than bottom 3rd of the league in nearly every statistical category.

I get how people might try and argue that the win totals over the last few seasons indicate that all is good. But the reality is Reid's Chiefs are playing the kind of football that will trend positive over a 16 game season but may not prepare the team to succeed in the single elimination tournament that is the nfl post season. We all saw the same thing in the Marty years; a formula that produces winning seasons but doesn't produce a championship caliber football team.
