I liked it, but didn't love it. It had that "almost, but not quite" feel to it. There were too many "suspend your belief" moments, even for a Trek movie. I can see why the hardcore Trekkie would be pissed about this movie. But all that said, it was a decent to good popcorn flick.

Just try not to think about why an installation the size of Yorktown wouldn't have a fleet on station for protection (especially butted up against a nebula where there was nothing known about what was beyond it), or why Krall had technology like he did at his disposal and hadn't invaded decades earlier, or if Krall's armada was manned by the Franklin crew or the untold number of ships that he had assimilated, or if Starfleet allowed the bio super weapon to just float around in proximity to Yorktown, or if they gathered/destroyed it, and you'll be fine.
