I had HUGE hopes for this movie when I learned that Simon Pegg was doing the heavy lifting on this script. While the interview that he gave stating that there is much more to the film than shown in the first trailer gave me hope... every trailer released for it has done nothing to build on that foundation.
There is little doubt in my mind that this movie is essentially... Star Trek: Briar Patch Drift.
