Any sport that "kids" (lots and lots and lots of them!!!) play non-stop from the time they can walk is a sport where you can compete on the national stage. Generally speaking, our kids go to school!!!
But it's OK, it's fine, we're getting better and with football's concussion protocol, soccer may take a few more steps forward in the coming years as parents opt-out of football.
And I LOVE football. I coach it for God's sake! But I'm happy my youngest son has found hockey. Hockey has it's own issues, but I love the game-time temperatures, and lots of other things too (and I LOVE coaching in a fleece in June!!!!). And it was his choice, and that's the most important thing...
