I live on the KS side of the metro. A few years ago I bought something pretty expensive in KC, MO. The guy said that if I had it mailed to me he wouldn't have to charge me sales tax. OK, I said.
So he goes and packages it up...then he hands it to me and asks me if I'd do him a favor and drop in it the mail for him. OK...
