It was good for us to get the series started with a win. But it was only much needed for the fans that just tuned in the last few years, actually. A lot of KC "Royals fans since birth" baseball fans are starting to get exposed. Showing their lack of baseball knowledge getting upset this early. Been kind of embarrassing, IMO.
