We knew coming out that he had great upside but would likely need time to develop. Well, he's gone from complete ass, to just bad, to hardly noticeable, to pretty ****ing good. Given the fact that he's still very young and injury concerns appear to be a thing of the past, get him signed long-term ASAP before he prices himself out of our pocketbooks.
Chances are he'll sign to something that we look at initially as a bit high, but in 2-3 years will look like bargain with contract inflation.

All deals are like that with the rapidly growing cap. The smart move would be lock down before the value peaks, but it just wouldn't surprise me if they make him "earn it"
