2002 was great...I don't really agree with your premise I mean that Confed cup year beating Spain and getting to the final was amazing. US has played at a high level with its given pool...there is no reason it can't remain there doing well in Gold Cups...being on top of its region and keeping making great runs at World Cups. JK has won some friendlies...he has not done anything Bradley hasn't at the World Cup and done worse in other serious tournaments. All while alienating good players and running them into the ground.
