It was pretty easy to hate the Jackson pick, but much more difficult to be objective and say, "If Scott Pioli can't be trusted to not make an idiotic selection like this, then why is he an improvement from Carl Peterson?"

I stuck by Pioli until the end of 2010. And I'm embarrassed to say so. He promised he'd make the trains run on time.
