In 2013 and in 2014 there were five trades in the first round during the draft. I also had five in my mock here. There were actually 8 first round draft day trades in 2012 (not including the Griffin trade that occurred beforehand.) I know it looks like a lot because the text shows up in both picks for clarity (I did that so you can see where the picks came from if you just click the team pages) but it actually is right on par with what to expect.
