There's just way too much going on IRL for them to translate it all into a game. They dont even have the drop depth correct on 90% of the routes in the game. Madden receivers dont even plant or stem their routes to get off the line. Work on that instead of a damn 'vision cone' for realism.

Yes, a critical mechanic that is crucial in real life football is clearly a gimmick and making receiver animations stem their routes will definitely bring more realism.
