There are some silly responses in this thread but if the Chiefs goal is to win the Super Bowl in 2015, you do whatever it takes to push off Alex Smith and his salary (defer it, whatever), trade for Brees and go for it.

It would take Drew Brees about 5 minutes to make a "connection" with Charles, Kelce, DAT, Wilson and Maclin.

Maybe less.
