So cap hits of $5, 8, 12, 14 and 16 million. If he's healthy, the first 3 years of that are relative bargains, especially given the way the cap is trending. You bail on the last year and eat $4 million in dead money.
He's guaranteed $33 million in the first 3 years of his deal (good for him) and if he's been productive in year 4, $14 million won't be prohibitive.
I believe he could've done substantially better than this on the market, especially in light of the actual cash spending mandated for a handful of teams in the league.
