I get what you are saying..I misused stopping power because I was typing fast and didn't think of the right word..ability to cause a larger wound cavity..is probably what I should of said

I shoot a 9, and hear this all the time. My response is, "why don't you go down range then charge at me, I'll shoot you with my 9, and we'll see if you stop." It usually settles down this argument.
