Top tier college programs are more than a part time job for those guys.
Two of my best friends while I was at TCU were athletes (one football and one basketball).
They had mandatory team meals and they got free meals at other times as long as they went through the team avenue. They focused hard core on nutrition. The football team's strength program was legit as well.
