From the sound of your post I think you have no idea about a weight program on any level and likely would be stunned at what goes on even at the local high school level like Rockhurst or Blue Springs.

Now their will be some strength increases just from natural maturity as boys become men, but it has jack shit to do with going from UCLA to the Chiefs.
I had a lengthy discussion with a current chiefs player who my wife and I are friends with about this subject after you and i had talked about it.

he said it's not about the specific program being that much different from what he did in college but the amount of time that becomes dedicated to the craft and how specialized it is for each individual player.

Moreso that it becomes a main focus and they aren't having to worry about anything else other than football at this point. He said the expectation is that no matter what school or where a player comes from, the strength and conditioning staff with the chiefs expects that they can put 10 to 15 pounds of good weight on a guy in a full offseason if they're asked to by the coaching staff. 'm skeptical about that amount though, seems excessive.
