I completely agree with this sentiment. In fact, I'd pretty much be happy with nothing but a trumpet at every single national sporting event. But hey, the super bowl has to have a "pop" flair to it so they can justify the advertising dollars.
As for the game, I'm torn. I want Indy to win so they can just go ahead and take the division already, on the other hand, I kind of hope the Giants win and force the colts into a downward spiral, keeping them in the "cluster****" of 4 and 5 win teams in the AFC so the competition keeps things close down the wire so the Chiefs have a fighting chance at getting a wildcard spot!
