Yost has a team full of speed demons and he managed that inning afraid of the double play. You're still going to need a hit to drive the run in even if you get a bunt, so why give the out up right away, especially when Escobar was going to see a fastball on 2-0 (which he did)?

That was foolish, cowardly managing, and it cost the Royals their best chance to tie the game or take the lead.
Agreed. If you have to point to a play its that one IMO.
