You don't have the right to walk down the street, and not have people say things to you....

I'm sorry...you just don't.

Thats not how it works and I don't think thats how it SHOULD work.

I'm gonna teach my son and daughter to use their best judgment......but I will never teach them to be unfriendly or not reach out to people...Why live life in that way?
I don't think we are going to agree on that line, but I do understand what you are saying. I also went to rewatch the video in case I was being overly sensitive, and that they really were just saying hi, but they are not. One guy the whole time says a simple hello, and oddly the nicest greeting is the how are you today, god bless you from the guy who then follows her for five minutes so I'm not sure what to think of that one. The rest of them are exclaiming in some way that she is attractive.

I don't think anyone has a right to not be spoken to, nor do I want to walk around like robots not acknowledging one another, but having a general understanding of how your comments are actually being perceived can help an individual decide how they choose to behave on a public street. There are alot of these videos and also articles trying to give some perspective. It is good to have these conversations. Wouldn't you like to know that a woman you approached out of the blue could believe you were sincere and take you seriously when you want to ask her out instead of considering your compliment in the context of a barrage of noise she has to endure while simply going about her day?
