Like George, my family has a connection to baseball like no other game. What else can a family of 13 do that involves every sibling and didn't cost much money?
Also like George, I'd have given my right eye to have had my mom or dad next to me to watch that game. My Mom hated Charlie O. To witness that game with my mom would have been epic. My dad died 45 years ago to the day of that game.
One day, he and I will talk and laugh about it.
