Alex Smith will never be considered for the MVP of the league. He doesn't have to have the stats. He cares only about winning. So handing the ball off and letting Charles and Knile do their thing, is just fine by him.
He doesn't need that justification. only idiots who are worried about the deep ball, and about fantasy stats underestimate, and under appreciate how good of a player he is. do you think there is any one on the Chiefs team right now DOESNT think Alex Smith is of MVP caliber?
