Quit talking in absolutes like you created the character or something. Batman is perfectly ok using guns as long as he isn't walking around with uzi's or some shit. Pretty much the
only rule with Batman is that he does not kill, and I believe this has been broken on several occasions including the Nolan movies. But there is not a rule that says he can't use cannons on the front of a car to blow up support structures and such.
