The Big 12 Conference suspended Sunday the Iowa State-Kansas State replay official and replay communicator for one game apiece after failing to stop the contest so a controversial play could be reviewed.

The replay official was Mike Angelis, according to pregame materials given to reporters before the game. The communicator's name was not provided.

"After internal review, it has been determined that the video evidence of the play was inconclusive," Big 12 football supervisor of officials Walt Anderson said Sunday in a statement released by the conference.
