I may think otherwise if it's murder and looks likely to harm a team's moral working with the guy. Unless there's a decent defense or explanation until proven guilty. Like with the Patriot's Hernandez but that was a team decision.
Twenty percent of the NFL should be fired due to gang or criminal connections or pasts.

So a Child Care company should not concern itself with hiring a person that a previous violate crime or child molestation charge/conviction?
It's not any of a Bank's business when hiring a cashier that said person has several embezzlement charges in their past?
