And that's pretty bad considering their QB just signed a huge extension, they've added what some would consider three #1 receivers over the past few years, and obviously already have Frank Gore and Vernon Davis plus one of the best offensive lines..
I'm not going to worry until the Titans game. If we lose that one, I'll probably lower my expectations to a 5-11 type season. Until then, I'm still hoping for 9-7, 10-6.

Me too. I'm still thinking 9-7 or 10-6. And until week 3, not only had their first team not scored TDs, but their 2nd and 3rd team hadn't scored either.
I just don't take a whole lot from preseason. It's more about getting players feet wet and getting them conditioned than anything for me. Would I like to see them play great? Of course. But them playing great doesn't mean much once the regular season starts. Neither does them playing bad.
