HAVE to take this game today. You can't expect to contend for a WC spot and lose 2 of 3 in CHI. We need to build on last night's win, and focus on getting the win today, and then taking 5 of 7 at home from the Twinks and Injuns.
That would put us at 55-52 going into August. Then, we need to find a way to go 17-12 in August, putting us at 72-64. In September, we'll need a 16-10 month to close it out. That would get us to 88-74, and right on the cusp of a WC opportunity. So, in short, from here forward we need to go 39-24 to give ourselves a chance. I've looked at the schedule a couple of times, and I think my numbers, by month, are our most realistic chance to secure the 88 wins.
