GTFO here...there is no way this is good, except for a money saving situation. And, I don't want to pay Alex Smith anything close to Cutler money, and I know where this saving is going. That is suicide, paying a guy who is never going to be better than a 13th or 14th best QB in the league a huge contract. Do you want to win a superbowl? If you do, you don't want to sign Alex Smiff. If you want to go to the playoffs, feel good about yourself, get your ass handed to you by Denver or New England in the first rd, be my guest.
