I have a question for the book readers and I don't think it has any potential spoilers. When the Mountain was made part of the King's Guard, didn't the Hound become heir to his father's holdings? I realize that him having a price on his head effectively cuts him off from any such claim, but would that not have been the case? If I understand it correctly, he was just bodyguard to Jeoffrey, not a King's Guard nor a knight. Does anyone know the backstory about his rlationship with his father if it doen not impact the future of tale, that is.
