This was an awesome movie, though I found the future scenes to be way more exciting and interesting. What a great way to fix the mess of the X-Men movie franchise. I thought they were going to create an excuse to reboot and recast everyone -- I hope this still is the case and that last scene was just a tip-of-the-hat for all the old actors and movies. I guess they can still do movies about stories that take place before Wolverine "comes back."
Also once again Marvel beats DC to the punch by getting their knock off characters on the big screen before DC does. Hawkeye before Green Arrow, Quicksilver before Flash and eventually Ant Man before The Atom and Apocalypse before Darkseid..

New X-Men and in the movies, Emma Frost is shown to have telekinesis + diamond skin in
First Class (this rendition of her is also pulled out of
New X-Men as well so it's more than likely that they're rolling with this logic).
