Well, it's AC1900 first of all, so with the right client, you could theoretically see Gigabit throughput (yes, 1000Mbps) on the 5Ghz band.
It has exceptional range, especially on the 5Ghz band over any other router I've ever owned.
And these new AC1900 routers (especially the LinkSys WRT1900) now sport USB performance on par with stand-alone SoC-based NAS boxes.
