The only negative thing that article had to say about ingesting it is that it takes longer for the effects to take hold and; therefore, it's easier to overdose. I've literally never heard of a single case of marijuana overdose in my life.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to imply that ingestion would have any of the same effects. I was trying to make the point that people have this false sense of security in inhaling or ingesting anything natural, while these synthetic drugs (engineered to mimic endogenous substances) are somehow way worse because they aren't natural.
