The people saying "he just wins" were wrong then. Yeah, the way he played lended itself to winning as he let the defense do the lifting and the inning game for the most part. "He's a winner" usually means there's not much else to say about a qb physically.
A qb can win a game where he throws for 100 yards, no tds and no picks, but lose by throwing for 380, 4 tds and no picks.
Wins and losses are a useless stat for qb play evaluation
