I have noticed that inside the 20, when the defense stacks more players, Kaepernick has issues. He can throw a nice 30-yarder occasionally, but has trouble throwing 8 yards or so. Kaepernick is not good on short passes. He has trouble fitting the ball into a tiny space consistently, which leads to FGs - Is it touch? I am not sure. Nevertheless, his accuracy problems have handcuffed his receivers.
The 49ers have had the same team for three years. Love the team; however, minus Kaepernick the team is simply awesome.
