Boy it is interesting, though - most years there are about 10 schools that just knock it out of the damn park.
From 11 to 30 or so, they're all pretty jumbled up - a single player could move you 5 spots forward or backwards very easily.
We're probably not going to be one of the HR hitters, but yeah, being in that 2nd tier of schools along with damn near everyone else that we'll compete with annually seems like a fine goal.
Even if you don't think it yields success, it does give insight into the perception of your school among the people you're trying to impress. If you can't bring talent in here, there's something wrong with the program.
