A lot of it is personal preference. I don't like any rubberizing on mine, and most high quality kettlebells don't have any. It's going to eventually break down and then your bell looks like shit. Cast iron is good. I want mine simple, unadorned and cast iron. No weird shapes or crazy colors. I also like fat grips, though a lot of women like the smaller grips, traditional kettlebells have fat grips.
So yes, the Troy ones (at least the ones that don't have the vinyl finish) look like they'd suit me just fine.
