I live in LA and we have no team of our own. In the late 70s I started following Joe Montana at Notre Dame.when he went to the 49ers I started watching them. When Joe left the Niners I followed him to KC. The time he spent with KC I went to every single KC game including the playoffs to see him play. As I was a part of that home crowd i developed a loyalty to the Chiefs that will never go away. Because they gave Joe a chance to go out with a winning team. Over the years KC has retreaded a lot of ex 49ers. I appreciate that.
I'll admit I couldn't stand Alex for years. He was like a bad rash that wouldn't go away. But in 2011 when he started winning he became the underdog I liked to cheer for. His coming to KC was alright in my eyes because it was a fresh start for him. And its nice to see my KC family have that passion about their team again.
So yes . There are many of us out there that do support two teams for whatever reason.
