i would have thought maybe carlton gray also???
|
2034 - Congrats on Hall making the squad, good to see. Though if you read the comments of Gun he may struggle to get any practice time.
|
Thankyou morph... I just read that interview on kcchiefs.com....i'm kinda upset by that.(i'm probably just taking it too personally).. but i also dont understand it...why would they want to keep a player that they dont even think will get to practice very much? Cause if they wont use him in practice, they probably wont in the game.. I dunno..it's all confusing to me. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/confused.gif
|
2034 - He will be one of the returners, so he will get some playing time there, it is as a RB he probably will not. We will see more of the oaf Moreau falling over when he tries to run up the middle.
|
Well, I nor he are complaining at this point. We are just very thankful that he was chosen. He realizes that he is blessed, and he is not taking any opportunity they are giving him for granted.
|
Thank goodness a commitment is made to dedicated players and cutting the fat like Cris Dishman.
It will hurt a little cap-wise, but it is worth it to me. |
I like the cut list, I only wish Carlton Gray had been on it. Does this get the Chiefs down to the limit? If not there is still hope that Gray will be added.
|
Well Well some of these names are a SHOCK!!!!
1. DAR-DAR 2. JEFF SMITH 3. DISHMAN 4. And maybe SHEHEE I thought that dar-dar would make it this time he showed his talent in a couple of games, and smith he is good and would be a great back-up????? and yes dishman got burned a couple of times but still has leadership and talent left in him. SHEHEE???? well maybe if he wasnt cutt my favorite RB-KIMBLE wouldnt of made it so i am all 4 it but still think we could of kept both and looked good. oh well so is this the finnaly cutts?????? ------------------ HAVE A NICE DAY!!!! |
Gray wasn't cut because the cap hit would've been to steep. I doubt he'll see the field except for special teams. Warfield and Bartee/Dennis as nickle and Wesley or Atkins at Strong Safety....well the youth movement is officially here!
------------------ AZChief Remember Kansas City's hero, Joe Delaney #37. |
2034, I think you read Gun's quote wrong. What gun hinted at was that Hall may be pressured in to learning a WR position...
AZ |
AZ-really? I didnt see that.. But I did think it was kind of odd how he was speaking of the receivers, then mentioned Dante. How could he have meant Dante may play receiver when he said he wont see much action during practice? I just think thats an interesting take on things because he's never played that position. Like I said, I dunno....I'm still learning this game, and why they do some of the things they do.
|
2034 - Well you said earlier that they were trying to move him out to WR spot in the offseason. Maybe they think he is too small to be a RB to run through the line, but one on one feel he could get open against a corner.
|
But even so, I'm just a little bit surprised. I mean, I know they ran a play or two with him at receiver in the tennessee game. Here's where I'm confused....People say that he';s too short to be a back, but aren't receivers usually bigger also?

The way I took it is that Hall won't be practicing much (with STs his main priority, and 3 HBs ahead of him), so they'd use him at WR (since he wouldn't be busy practicing HB anyway being 4th string).
BTW 2034, what's your relation to Hall? |
