14 days.

about damn time!

The first game of the season always feels magical. And strange. In the same way. Kinda like reconnecting with an old friend.

But this year I think we are all - ALL - more optimistic than ever before. It's a wonderful time to be a Chiefs fan.

I always greet training camp & preseason with a big ol' "meh" and I always wonder if I've lost whatever excitement I had for the Chiefs.

Then, the days before Week 1 arrives, it all comes rushing back and stays around until early/middle of January.

I'll look back at this thread tomorrow and I'll have no idea how I made it through today.

Mahomes only knows what fate has in store for us this year. I'm sure it will be magical.
